Hunza is a tribe which inhabits the high areas of the Himalayas, between India and Pakistan. This small community is famous for its robust health due to the specific sort of apricots that the natives grow.
Apricots are a holy fruit for the Hunza tribe. Fruits are harvested in season and are consumed fresh. Part of them is dried for the winter are mixed with snow to make a delicious homemade sorb.
