DMSA (Dimercaptosuccinic acid) is a non-toxic oral chelating agent approved in 1991 by the US FDA. It can be used by kids with lead and mercury toxicity. DMSA bounds with heavy metals and lead them out of the body through blood circulation and urinary tract.

Recommended daily dose from 10 mg to 30 mg/ kg body weight on an empty stomach. The total daily intake should be divided into 2-3 administrations.
Not recommended during pregnancy and nursing!
Not recommended in case of an excretory function of the liver.
Pro-longed DMSA intake increases the risk of demineralisation of the organism. That is why it is recommended to take vitamin-mineral complexes after consultation with a physician.
