THE PRODUCT HAS
The wheat germ is rich in vitamins and minerals. It contains vitamin E, group B vitamins, choline, inositol and many trace elements. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin that is accumulated in the liver, fatty tissues, heart, muscles, testes, uterus, adrenal and pituitary gland. Known with its strong antioxidant properties it strengthens vitamin A activity.
It acts as a vasodilating agent and anticoagulant and also slows down the oxidation of fatty compounds, which slows down cell aging.
During pregnancy, breastfeeding, use of contraceptives and during menopause, the body needs higher doses of vitamin E.
Wheat germ contains vitamin B1 (thiamine), which helps growth and facilitates the absorption of carbohydrates. Maintains the normal functioning of the nervous system.
Embryo has a diuretic action. Pregnant women, smokers and people who consume more sugar need more vitamin B1.
People who take antacids (substances which neutralize stomach acidity and heartburn), has a lack of thiamine because of the diet. In all stressful conditions, illness, nervous tension, trauma or after surgery, vitamin B1 intake should be increased. Excessive vitamin B1 is excreted in the urine and is not stored in tissues and organs, therefore, it does not lead to hyperthyminosis or toxicity.
Vitamin B3 is also known as nicotinic acid or niacin. The lack of niacin can cause negative changes in the psyche. It is extremely important for the synthesis of sex hormones (estrogen, progesterone, testosterone) as well as cortisone and insulin. It is necessary to maintain the proper functioning of the nervous system and the brain.
Vitamin B5 (panthenol) improves cellular growth, normal growth and development of the central nervous system. This vitamin is important for the proper function of the adrenal glands and stimulates fat and carbohydrates breakdown in the body. The body uses vitamin B5 to synthesize antibodies and digest choline. It helps the healing of wounds and reduces the toxic effects of the antibiotics. It is recommended in larger doses for hypoglycaemia and duodenum.
Vitamin B6 helps the body to form antibodies and red blood cells and promotes the absorptions of fats and proteins in the body.
Choline (vitamin B4) is a lipotropic agent of Group B vitamins. It is one of the few substances that have the ability to penetrate the blood-brain barrier. It controls cholesterol formation, prevents its deposition on the arterial walls and the gall bladder and favours liver health. Inositol and choline promote fat and cholesterol absorption, that is useful for memory. It increases the concentration of phosphorus in the body.
Inositol is also a lipotropic agent. It is combined with choline to form lecithin. Inositol is an important substance in the metabolism of fat and cholesterol. It helps vitamin F absorption, improves the functions of all organs and systems in the body, stimulates the immunity, physical endurance and working capacity. It also soothes the nervous system, reduces headaches and preserves brain cells.
