Immumuco® is rich in valuable trace elements such as selenium and zinc. These essential minerals complement and enhance the positive effect of the E. coli extract in the composition.
The cell-free fermentation filtrate of Escherichia coli, strain Laves 1931, used in Immumuco® does not contain live bacteria, but only metabolic products of the strain. These are valuable nutrients, including glycolipids, fatty acids, peptides, and amino acids that E. coli produces. They serve as food for the cells of the gastrointestinal tract, counteract inflammation and stimulate the regeneration of the intestinal mucosa. That is why the cell-free fermentation filtrate of Escherichia coli has been used for decades to treat Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Zinc and selenium further enhance this effect, support immune function and increase the effectiveness of the food supplement.
Zinc is a cofactor for the proper course of many metabolic processes in the human body. The essential mineral promotes cell growth, participates in the construction of proteins and accelerates the healing process of wounds. In addition, the valuable trace element is directly related to the work of the thyroid gland and balanced immune activity.
