NOTAKEHL ® is not an antibiotic and does not contain or produce penicillic acid. No possible side effects such as penicillin allergies, liver damage, destruction of the intestinal flora and formation of penicillin-resistant strains, as with antibiotic treatment, have been documented to date.
Composition: 1 g ointment contains: Medically active substance: 0.1 g Penicillium chrysogenum e volumine cellulae (lyophil., steril.) 3X dil. Other constituents: 0.38 g lanolin alcohol ointment, 0.10 g coconut oil fract., 0.03 g glyceryl monostearate 40-55%, 0.23 g propylene glycol, 0.02 g magnesium sulphate x 7 H2O, 0.01 g lactic acid, 0.13 g water for injection.
Contraindications: Do not administer in cases of known hypersensitivity to mold fungi (Penicillium chrysogenum).
Side effects: Because of specific organic components of NOTAKEHL®, theoretically, hypersensitivity may occur. In this case, discontinue medication and treat symptomatically.
