Visolor® contains three active substances which make it extremely effective. These are lutein, astaxanthin and resveratrol. The three powerful antioxidants improve not only eye health but they take care of the overall health of the body.

Lutein is the first antioxidant in Visolor®. It is metabolised mainly in the eyes and improves the function of the eye macula. It is suitable in cases of degeneration associated with natural processes of ageing. High levels of lutein in the eyes prevent the risk of cataracts. 

Antioxidant number two in Visolor® is astaxanthin. It also serves to prevent cataracts and takes care of the optimal health of the eye macula. As an antioxidant, it improves the overall health of the body, slows down the ageing processes and takes care of immunity.

Resveratrol is polyphenol phytoalexin. It is found in great amounts in flakes, skin and in the bark of some fruits and nuts. Its function is to save the heart of the fruit from the harmful toxins in the environment. In the same way, it protects the eye tissue from the oxidative stress which is accumulated in the body. Its presence favours the excretion of free radicals and activates phagocytes, which care for high immunity. This substance has the ability to absorb UV rays and to protect the eyeс from harmful sunlight.

Visolor® contains also red cranberry extract, Vitamin C, Zinc, Selenium and Vitamin B12.

Red cranberry extract is rich in anthocyanosides and flavonoids which decrease cell degeneration caused by free radicals. These substances maintain the blood supply to the eyes. It reduces the feeling of fatigue and improves eye health. The regular intake of red cranberry extract prevents cataracts, glaucoma, night blindness and loss of peripheral vision.

Vitamin C and B2 are two of the main nutrients which favour optimal eye health. The first nutrient falls into the category of antioxidants and promotes collagen formation.
